Biography

Sook-Kyung Lee is Senior Curator, International Art at Tate Modern. Lee heads Tate’s major research initiative Hyundai Tate Research Centre: Transnational, which explores new ways of understanding and representing art histories that are interconnected beyond national or cultural boundaries.

Rudolf Frieling is Curator of Media Arts at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) where he co-curated the recent retrospectives Nam June Paik (2019–2021) and Suzanne Lacy: We Are Here (2019), after having curated thematic shows such as The Art of Participation: 1950 to Now (2008–2009). He is also a Senior Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
