These modified goggles were designed for Moorman to wear, usually while playing TV Cello. They debuted during a performance of Concerto for TV Cello and Videotape at the Galeria Bonino in New York, during the 1971 exhibition Paik-Abe Video Synthesizer with Charlotte Moorman: Electronic Art III. They usually displayed the same images as the TV Cello.
